There are so many surrogate mothers out there waiting to help you grow the family you’ve always wanted. Even with plenty of options, finding the perfect match for you and your family can seem daunting, or even impossible. 

Before you can begin the selection process of your surrogate, you first need to determine how you will find them. While the best way is often through a full-service surrogacy agency like Circle, you can also go through a fertility clinic or surrogacy attorneys (who can also make sure you're complying with state-by-state surrogacy laws). You can network among family and friends or even find someone from online support groups.

Timeline and Costs

As an intended parent, your consultation and sign-on period will take anywhere from 1 to 3 months. During this time, you will consult with our agency, sign an agreement for services, do an intro video call with your team, and match with an egg donor (if needed). If you need to create embryos, you will do so at this time, but it will take an additional 4 to 8 months. 

You will then begin the matching process, which is when you will find a surrogate! This part of the journey varies in time, but you can rest assured you are in the best hands to find the ideal match for you, your partner, and your family. 

A typical surrogacy journey can cost anywhere from $100,000 to upwards of $200,000. The actual cost of your journey will depend on your personal circumstances, whether or not you choose to work with a surrogacy agency, and whether or not you need to create embryos. 

Generally, your first cost will be for your agency, ranging from $20,000 to $40,000. Your agency fee at Circle covers the application process, in-depth screening services, personal matching services, information coordination, emotional support throughout the whole journey, post-journey communication, post-birth travel preparation, and more.
