
Sam Hyde
President
Sam earned his undergraduate degree from Michigan State University and his MBA at the University of Michigan. He then spent time with both Deloitte Consulting and McKinsey & Company helping advise and build a variety of businesses. At Circle, Sam is responsible for the overall management of the business, including meeting with prospective parents during consults. He finds the most joy both in supporting Circle's staff in their own growth and in seeing the many beautiful baby pictures that come across his desk as a result of all the hard work from the team. Having experienced fertility challenges when starting his own family, Sam understands firsthand the importance of support and help to fulfill dreams of parenthood. Sam and his wife are now blessed with three beautiful children with the help of IVF.

Scott Buckley
Vice President of Client Services
Scott has been part of the Circle family since 2003. Scott’s job with Circle began while in law school and has included serving as Staff Attorney, Director of Legal Services and Director of Operations. During his time at Circle, he has had the opportunity to connect with intended parents from all over the world, educating them on the surrogacy process, costs and insurances. Scott uses his years of experience speaking with intended parents at the beginning of the surrogacy process to design Circle’s program offerings, such as the all-inclusive Journey Protection Guarantee cost program. Scott also supports intended parents who may run into challenges in their journeys. Scott is a graduate of Boston College and Boston College Law School. He is married with 3 beautiful children, and when not at work volunteers his time serving on his local School Committee and coaching soccer.

Emily Sonier
Vice President of Culture and Program Support
Emily has over 20+ years of experience providing compassionate care and guidance to individuals, couples and families as a licensed independent clinical social worker. Emily also works closely with the teams at Circle that provide services to our intended parents, surrogates and egg donors; knowing that it is because of their hard work, dedication and passion, that we are able to help create as many families as we have over the years. Emily earned a Master of Social Work degree from the University of Pennsylvania. Her professional experience includes years working with individuals and families; working in Philadelphia to provide case management and support to those living with HIV/AIDS in the 1990s, providing therapy to adolescent girls in a residential program and supporting surviving family members of the September 11 terrorist attack. Emily regularly presents at conferences, including the National Association of Social Workers and the American Bar Association’s Family Law Conference, and is consulted as an expert in the field of surrogacy. Emily brings to her role her personal experience with secondary infertility and is a parent through birth and adoption. Emily enjoys spending time with her family (and being a dog mom), being outdoors, creative writing and photography, and all things food – from finding new recipes and cooking for friends and family, to trying new restaurants.

Dean Hutchison, Esq
Vice President of Legal Services
Dean has been part of the Circle Surrogacy family since 2004. In addition to his role as Circle’s Vice President of Legal Services, Dean is also an Attorney and the Former Chairman of the American Bar Association’s Committee on Assisted Reproductive Technology. He received his Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Richmond and his Law Degree from Suffolk University. Dean has managed thousands of ART matters over the course of his career and has organized and presented on many panels – both US and International - on the legal aspects of surrogacy and egg donation. Dean is also very involved in surrogacy and third party reproductive advocacy, drafting and testifying in support of legislation before the Massachusetts Legislature. In his current role as the Vice President of Legal Services, Dean oversees Circle Surrogacy’s full legal team, and works closely with Intended Parents on their journeys. He enjoys meeting with Intended Parents, whether in Circle’s offices or via Zoom, as well as visiting them in their hometowns throughout the world. Dean is married with 3 beautiful children and has been recognized as a Rising Star by Super Lawyers and Boston Magazine.

Amanda Caroca
Director of Program Coordination
Amanda received her Master of Social Work degree from Boston University and her Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology from Boston College. Before coming to Circle, Amanda worked in the social work department at a local hospital, providing clinical counseling to patients in Labor and Delivery. At Circle, Amanda supports the Program Coordination and Clinical Support teams. She is bilingual and enjoys helping intended parents from around the world expand their families.

Solveig Gramann
Director of Surrogate Services
Solveig earned her Master of Science in Social Work degree from the University of Texas at Austin School of Social Work. During her Master’s Program, she trained at two major hospitals in Texas. At these institutions, she worked primarily with women populations conducting psychosocial assessments, connecting patients and their families with local and national resources, collaborating with the interdisciplinary health team, as well as providing clinical support. She joined the Circle team in 2013 as a social worker conducting assessments and working closely with surrogates. Throughout the years, she has participated in and overseen all phases of a surrogate’s journey from point of application through the surrogacy delivery. As the Director of Surrogate Services, Solveig now oversees all of the surrogate intake departments and matching process.
