Nurtured Preparation
Feel supported through an uncertain time.
Not only is every surrogacy journey unique, we understand that everyone who takes this step has a rich and layered story leading up to this point. We have a whole infrastructure in place—led by your personal Matching Specialist—to learn more about your experiences getting here, so that we can shape our guidance to address your concerns and goals.
From monthly check-ins to a customized roadmap of resources, we’re here to support you through what we know can feel like an uncertain, even anxious, time. Our years of getting to know intended parents shows us that there is also a deep well of excitement that is possible during this stage of your journey.
Genuine Compatibility
Find connection over what really matters.
Every intended parent and every surrogate who comes to us is a multifaceted individual. One of the most important things we do is bring to light what may not be visible on paper—we believe this is key to helping you find connection with your surrogate over what really matters.
Our Matching Specialists all practice a balance of deep listening and professional recommendations, informed by years of training and experience. Backed by an integrated team approach, we help develop tailored matches through a tried and true approach of criteria refinement that has enabled us to successfully match thousands of intended parents and surrogates.
Healthy Relationship
You and your surrogate will be embarking on an incredibly significant journey, with many steps along the way. Finding your match is the end of one phase, and the beginning of another. Your Matching Specialist will set up a call between just you, your surrogate, and your spouses or key support people. Our hope is that together you’ll begin with an authentic connection and take ownership over this special relationship you are building.
We emphasize the power of brave and honest communication as you set the foundation for your relationship. In our experience, it’s helpful to assume everyone’s intentions are good—a key insight for weathering the challenges ahead and keeping your shared goal in mind, and at heart.
Circle’s proprietary matching approach, MatchMade™, has three key components to help encourage a positive surrogate match.
1. Customized Parent Preparation Resources
2. Proven Framework to Focus on Genuine Compatibility
3. Foundational Support for a Healthy Relationship
Your Matching Specialist
From your first meeting with Circle, we will ask you how you imagine your surrogacy journey. When you are introduced to our Matching Specialists, they will continue to get to know you and ask you to complete a parent profile. Answering these questions helps our team find you the best surrogate match for your journey. We have decades of experience putting intended parents and surrogates together who form deep bonds throughout the surrogacy journey and beyond.
Circle will ask intended parents and surrogates their preferences on the following:
Level of communication they desire with each other during and after the surrogacy
Location (intended parents can share a preference for state/area of the country, while surrogates can share a preference for IPs in the U.S. or living internationally)
Number of embryos to transfer (single embryo or multiple embryo)
Views on selective reduction and termination
Finding The Right Surrogate Match
While our Matching Specialists do a phenomenal job of matching parents and surrogates, there are times when we’ll share a match that doesn’t feel right. Giving honest feedback on why you are saying no to a match will help us get it right the second time.
The criteria you use to determine a good match is personal to you and can include:
Some parents look to hear why a surrogate has applied to do a surrogacy journey
Some gestational carriers like to hear the intended parents' story – how they met, and why they are interested in growing their family
Other times, it's a gut feeling that it's "right"
Watch Mandi and Nicola's sweet surrogacy story and see how strong the relationship between surrogate and an intended parent can be.
"When we started our video call to get to know the intended parents I connected with them instantly and just knew immediately that I wanted to help them!"
