Last week, the Louisiana House passed Senate Bill 162, which would legalize surrogacy in Louisiana if signed by Governor Bobby Jindal. Like most things, it’s not a one-size-fits-all situation. The bill includes language to ensure gay and unmarried couples cannot enter into a valid surrogate contract.
As you can imagine, this is a controversial topic in Louisiana, and across the country for that matter. As such, the Tommy Tucker Show on WWL called upon Circle Surrogacy‘s President and Founder, John Weltman, and Louisiana State Senator Gary Smith for their views on the new surrogacy bill.
