Surrogate Advisor

We are looking for a Surrogate Advisor to add to our Prescreening Department who will assist with the prescreening and matching process of surrogate applicants. This is a highly visible role that is critical to the company achieving its goals.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Review initial applications, gather necessary additional information/clarifications through phone, text, and email
  • Prepare all prescreening paperwork and information to deliver to the social work team for more in-depth screenings
  • Complete data entry tasks into shared company database
  • Work with matching team and social work team to coordinate surrogate matching process with intended parents
  • Work interdepartmentally to streamline processes and to make sure that all information is accurate and up to date in all “tracking” systems
  • Track each potential surrogate during the various stages of the application phase, ensuring that there is sufficient ‘movement’ and ‘flow’ of department’s files in a timely fashion
  • Meet weekly and monthly individual and group goals for lead conversion
  • Act in accordance with Circle Surrogacy’s professional brand whenever in contact with surrogates or any internal and external stakeholders
  • Willingness to do additional tasks as assigned

PREPARATION, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required
  • Prior experience with sales, customer service and/or meeting high-demand quotas preferred
  • Administrative experience in a fast paced, for-profit environment
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • High attention to detail and ability to multitask/prioritize
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving capability
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with time-sensitive work deadlines
  • Familiarity utilizing client databases

Program Coordinator/Case Manager

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Provides high level of customer service while serving as the primary point of contact for intended parents, surrogates, and egg donors throughout their surrogacy journey.
  • Collaborates and coordinates across Circle’s interdisciplinary teams and with our partners to facilitate the smoothest possible experience for our clients.
  • Advises intended parents in making decisions and navigating obstacles throughout the journey.
  • Provides support to intended parents and surrogates during low points in the journey such as failed transfers, relationship issues with surrogate, miscarriage, premature and/or complicated deliveries.
  • Enters important data related to journey in agency database.
  • Acts as a contributing team player to Program Coordinator team.

  • Bachelor’s degree and one-year post-college work experience in case management, customer service, or IVF/ Third Party Reproduction.
  • High attention to detail and ability to multitask/prioritize.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with time-sensitive work deadlines. Skilled at maintaining calm demeanor during stressful situations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with utilizing client databases.

WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL DEMANDS

  • Remote work environment, ideally with some flexible hours to accommodate the various time zones of potential clients. Optional biannual travel to Circle’s main office in Boston.

Social Worker

The Social Worker position combines clinical assessment skills and supportive counseling to surrogates in a fast-paced business environment. Social workers at Circle are involved in the gestational carrier process before a surrogate is matched with intended parents and post-match as the surrogate moves forward in her surrogacy journey. This provides our social workers with a unique opportunity to engage in both short-term work through the assessment phase and long-term work supporting carriers throughout their journeys that can last one to two years. The social worker role is critical to the company’s business operations and vital to Circle’s superior customer service and support to our clients. This role is a good fit for social workers who are looking for opportunities to extend beyond a traditional social work environment. In an effort to connect with our surrogate population this specific position will include a combination of some days during the regular work week and weekend days.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS*

  • Review surrogate profiles to prepare for screening
  • Coordinate and conduct video/phone psychosocial assessments with surrogate applicants
  • Produce ≈20 page assessments per applicant to be used in matching process with intended parents and documentation purposes for IVF process
  • Provide supportive counseling to assigned surrogates throughout their journey with the agency
  • Work with matching team to coordinate surrogate matching process with intended parents
  • Collaborate and coordinate across Circle’s interdisciplinary teams and with our partners to facilitate the smoothest possible experience for our clients
  • Document important data related to journey in agency database and provide weekly/monthly/annual reports as requested
  • Act as a contributing team player to the Social Work team

  • Master’s degree in social work from an accredited institution
  • Successful completion of ASWB Master level examination
  • Master’s level licensure in good standing
  • Experience conducting psychosocial assessments
  • Work experience in adoption is preferred
  • Strong oral and written communication skills and ability to maintain calm demeanor during stressful situations
  • High attention to detail and ability to multitask/prioritize
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving capability
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with time-sensitive work deadlines
  • Familiarity utilizing client databases
  • Team player; comfortable working in an interdisciplinary environment
