Circle Surrogacy & Egg Donation was founded in 1995 by lawyer and gay dad through surrogacy, John Weltman. Circle Surrogacy is headquartered in Boston, Massachusetts, with an office in downtown Washington, DC that supports intended parents, surrogates and egg donors from the DC Metro area and the East Coast.

Circle offers support and services for potential parents, surrogates, and egg donors from the United States, as well as potential parents from around the world. To work with Circle's DC office, you do not need to live in the immediate area, or even on the East Coast, but should you wish to have your surrogacy agency close by, our surrogacy agency in Washington, DC is convenient to visit.

Becoming an Egg Donor

Egg donors are bright young women who want to help others realize their dreams of parenthood. Donating eggs with Circle Egg Donation is safe and secure. Women who apply to be egg donors have the opportunity choose which type of egg donation they wish to do; many egg donors choose Known Egg Donation so they can get to the know the intended parents whom they are helping.

Do I have to live in Washington DC in order to work with Circle Surrogacy & Egg Donation?

No! Intended parents, surrogates and egg donors do not need to live in Washington or even on the East Coast in order to work with us. Surrogates and donors can live anywhere in the US, and intended parents can live anywhere in the US or abroad and can apply with us.

It is a common misconception that your surrogacy or egg donation agency needs to be close to where you live. That is not the case at all! All of our communications are done via video, phone and email. The only travel you will need to do is to the fertility clinic. So you could live anywhere and work with Circle Surrogacy & Egg Donation.
