Circle Presents at Parenthood Workshop for HIV+ Men at Gay Men’s Health Summit in Washington, July 20
Circle Surrogacy is excited to participate in the 2012 Gay Men’s Health Summit, which will be held July 20-21, 2012 in Washington, D.C. We are proud have been selected to discuss our experience assisting HIV+ intended fathers become parents through the Special Program of Assisted Reproduction (SPAR). The Gay Men’s Health Summit takes place the weekend preceding the XIX International AIDS Conference, which returns to the United States for the first time since 1990.
We will be participating in the Men Becoming Parents panel on Friday, July 20, 2012. Panelists will include:
- John Weltman, Esq., President and Founder, Circle Surrogacy
- George Fesser, LMSW, Director of Center Families, The LGBT Community Center, New York
- Emily Sonier, LICSW, Manager of Journey Coordinators & Intended Parent Support, Circle Surrogacy
The workshop will discuss the medical, emotional, and legal aspects of parenthood for HIV+ men. You will learn how in vitro fertilization in conjunction with the innovative SPAR sperm washing technique is helping many men living with HIV become parents through surrogacy.
You can find information about registering for the panel as well as other Gay Men’s Health Summit events here: http://www.gmhs2012.org/register.html.
